New Canaan’s Town Trails

April 21, 2019 by Steve Leave a Comment

New Canaan’s Town Trails

New Canaan is one of the wealthiest towns in the country. Depending on which measure one uses, it’s always going to land in the top 0.01% or so of wealthy towns. And that explains why one of the more popular town-owned spots to walk takes you past this summer home:

That was owned by the guy who founded Texaco and now it’s a town park. But for me, the best part about walking around New Canaan is chancing upon some classic mid-century modern houses. I’ll never be wealthy enough to live in New Canaan, but… a boy can dream.

My New Canaan Town Hikes:

Bristow Bird Sanctuary
Irwin Park
Mill Pond Park
New Canaan Nature Center Trails
Waveny Park
