CTMQ’s Town Guides

November 20, 2017 by Steve 3 Comments

Everything Connecticut

I’ve been writing CTMQ since September 2006.

In 2016, I decided to slightly alter my path forward and began putting together “CTMQ Town Guides.” This represents the culmination of everything I’ve been doing here since the beginning; with the ultimate goal being that of “completing” towns – and sharing my adventures with readers.

Some towns will be relatively easy; either because they don’t have much to do or I’ve already done much of it. Others will be monsters. I relish the challenge. I welcome any and all feedback. Things missed, unknown, closed, yet-to-open, etc.

Go here for my Town Completion Celebrations!

Just want to say again, your town guides are great! I used them as one of my sources for the project I was working on, where my dogs,. Mandy and Lexi visited every town in Connecticut over the past year. I wrote short write-ups on each place, you can see them at https://mandyandlexi.com . I also wrote a more extensive write up on the Hockanum River Trails, which I know you love. Cheers!

    You’re missing forestville.

Forestville is not one of Connecticut’s 169 towns. Cripes, it’s not ever a fake town or borough or census designated place. It’s a darn neighborhood, of which there are many thousands. You are part of Bristol.
