Candlewood Valley Regional Land Trust
Danbury & New Fairfield

How exciting! The Land Trust of Danbury and the New Fairfield Land Trust have merged together to form the bigger, stronger, better… Candlewood Valley Regional Land Trust! It’s funny that I’m seeing this happening more and more in the land trust world; true regionalization!

Komlo Preserve

Perhaps it’s a first step to Connecticut’s 169 kingdoms to regionalize their governments! Hahahahahahahhah, sorry, just kidding. I read a thing the other day essentially saying that if the Connecticut way was the smart way, why did/have no other states done it the same way? Or, “if you were to create a state, would you do it like Connecticut?” Of course the answer is no, and yet… here we are. Let’s hike.
