New Fairfield’s Town Trails

New Fairfield is not very much like Fairfield at all. While both are in Fairfield County, Fairfield is a town with a commercial area and a couple universities and an identity. New Fairfield is a farming community that always votes Republican and doesn’t have all that much going on – which is what New Fairfield wants I’m sure.

Great Hollow Nature Preserve

There are a lot of wooded acres in New Fairfield, but there are a lot of Candlewood Lake acres as well. And some farm acres. So not too much hiking acres. But there are enough with the local land trust as well. I’m excited for New Fairfield, if only because it’s so unknown to me.
