Norfolk’s Town Trails Intro

Norfolk’s Town Trails

With three state parks, two quasi-private forest tracts (Aton and Great), and an active land trust, that doesn’t leave much land for the town to manage. Even in a town with so much undeveloped land like Norfolk.

And frankly, I’m not really all that confident what’s listed below should even be listed on this page – or if a “Norfolk Town Trails” page should exist. (Mostly because the Norfolk Land Trust has a habit of chatting up every trail in town; not just their own – and that gets confusing.)

I still very much like Norfolk. Because of stuff like this.

The trails listed here are Rails to Trails trails, but they seem to be more woodsy than such things usually are. Who knows… maybe this page will disappear someday.
