North Stonington Citizens Land Alliance

North Stonington Citizens Land Alliance
North Stonington

Phew! The fabled North Stonington Citizens Land Alliance almost slipped under my radar! The huge Avalonia Land Trust has several properties in the rural town, and I thought hiking their trails in town pretty much covered things for me.

But… no. For the NSCLA has a few trailed properties of their own. I can’t really sort out who this group is or how they operate, but that’s not why you’re here. You’re here because you want me to drive all the way out to North Stonington to find these places and to hike them… and then to write mildly humorous trail reports for your armchair pleasure.

Okay then. Let’s do it.

If linked, I’ve hiked it.

If you guys hike the San Cote Preserve you need to at least wave. It is literally my next door neighbor.
