Avon’s Town Trails

Avon’s Town Trails

I wonder what it’s like to be an Avon lady in Avon. Do they still drive the pink cars? I haven’t seen one in forever. Quite a mystery.

The boys showing love at Fisher Meadows

Also a mystery? Figuring out the subtle differences between town owned land (with trails) and Land Trust land (with trails). Avon sort of opened Pandora’s Box for me with regards to this stuff. In Avon, and many other towns, the land trust lists some town owned properties as their own – which I totally understand. No biggie. It makes sense. For instance, one must hike through Hazen Park (Avon owned) to get to the Skyline Trail (Land Trust property) to get up to the state owned Talcott Mountain Stae Park. Fun Stuff.
